There is a difference between what you say is your values and how you act upon it. Learn how you can take your values and create tactics around it as clear working agreements. This is not just for those companies with the teams but for individual contributors and is great to create with your clients.
Join La’Kita Williams, Founder, and Chloe Andersen, Partner of CoCreate Work, to learn how to create a working agreement with with yourself, with your team, and with your clients looking at the following:
Clarity: Does it use clear and concise language, avoiding ambiguity and jargon?
Alignment: Does it reflect the goals and intentions of the team or organization?
Measurability: Is it defined to allow for concrete actions and outcomes (i.e., accountability)?
Actionability: Does it provide practical guidance and empower decision-making?
Relevance: Can it be applied to the specific context?
Present tense: Does it say what you do, not what you will do?

First F*cking Friday Meeting | April 2024
This month's community conversation is led by Bet Hannon, CEO of AccessiCart and the topic is "Web Accessibility: Enhancing Your Business and Doing the Right Thing"
Did you know you can get a Small Business tax credit if you are ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant for your website? How appropriate for April, on tax month! That is just the tip of the iceberg in how making your website accessible can boost your business from sales to SEO ranking, and do the right thing by being more inclusive.
In today's digital age, the importance of web accessibility cannot be overstated. Ensuring that your website is accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities, is a legal requirement and a fundamental aspect of ethical business practices.
Throughout this conversation, you can expect to gain valuable insights into the critical role of web accessibility in enhancing business performance while aligning with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance regulations.
We'll explore practical strategies and best practices for optimizing your website to accommodate diverse user needs, ultimately improving user experience, expanding your customer base, and fostering inclusivity, while equipping you with the knowledge and tools needed to create a more accessible and inclusive online presence while advancing your business goals.

As she and her wife celebrate their 40th anniversary on this very day, Bet reflects on the milestones of a life well-lived, including meeting her partner during college.
